EVENING VISIT TO ACORN FARM
On the evening of Friday 27th June we are visiting the home of Andrew Parsons, the speaker who gave an excellent talk ‘Farming with Wildlife’ earlier this spring. We are meeting at 6.30pm at Village Hall to share transport or 7pm at the farm at Sutton on Trent. NG23 6RT (www.acornfarmvisits.co.uk).
COACH TRIP TO EASTON WALLED GARDEN
On Sunday 13th July, we are heading 40 minutes down the A1 to see the stunning sweet peas and wander around the beautiful grounds at Easton Walled Garden (www.eastonwalledgardens.co.uk). We will be leaving from Lowdham at approximately 10am and travelling there by coach, where we can spend time visiting the gardens, relaxing with a picnic or enjoying a spot of lunch in their café!
All are welcome and the cost of the trip is £12 to members and £16 to non members. This price covers both the transport and entry to the gardens. We are hoping keeping our fingers crossed for a lovely sunny day.
