On Thursday 22nd January, will be welcoming back Nicola Oakey to talk about her RHS Chelsea show garden ‘Gardening for Songbirds’.  Nicola is a Rutland based garden designer and created her debut show garden at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2025 in the ‘All About Plants category’. The garden was award an RHS Silver-Gilt Medal.  The talk will focus on how to create bird-friendly gardens beyond just feeders and nest boxes. There will be lots of examples of bird-friendly plants, as well as how to generally create a wildlife-friendly garden. Nicola will also share some interesting scientific research into how humans can be a help and a hindrance to supporting songbirds. 

All are welcome with a £5 charge to non-members.
