Hello everyone and welcome to the new website. My name is Nicola and I am the Chair of the society.

Time seems to be flying by this summer! Now we have come to the end of the Olympic Games, I can’t believe that it is only 2 weeks until this year’s Summer Show! The weather is trying its best to be ready and the garden is certainly growing! But if your garden is anything like mine, we need to introduce a class this year for the tallest weed!

You still have plenty of time to prepare your entries – growing, baking, photography or handicrafts. Next time the children moan that they don’t know what to do, get them creating entries for the young people’s classes, to see if they can be this year’s trophy winner.

The summer show is the beginning of our membership year, so an ideal time for new members to join the Society. Hope to see you all there. It is a great day out for all the family!
