VIRTUAL SPRING SHOW 2021

This year we would like to build on the idea of a virtual show that we had last year, but make it a bit bigger and more of a competition.  Obviously, we can only judge photographs of your entries but it will be lovely to see what is growing in everyone’s gardens.  Entries need to be uploaded directly to our website and we will explain how to do this once this once details have been finalised. We will not judge to our normal rules as it is just for a bit of fun so we will award certificates to the first, second and third placed in each class.  For some classes the flowers will need to be picked, but for others we are happy for you to photograph them in situ, in your garden.  We are not judging the quality of the photograph, just the plants or flower.

Classes

Class 1 – pot of members’ bulbs ‘Narcissus Anniversary Gift’ (photographed still growing in the pot they are planted in)

Class 2 – a vase/container of mixed daffodils (any number)

Class 3 – a vase/container of mixed spring flowers

Class 4 – a flowering shrub (picked or in situ)

Class 5 – a bowl or pot of spring bulbs or flowers (photographed growing in the pot they are planted in)
